Terms & Disclaimer

Agreement
These terms govern your use of CalcFleet, operated by CalcFleet (“we”, “us”). By using the site, the API, the MCP server, or any related feature, you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the service.
Calculator use
The calculators are provided for you to model outcomes from the inputs you enter. Results are estimates based on those inputs and standard formulas, and they do not account for every variable relevant to your situation. You are responsible for the inputs you provide and for how you use the results.
No professional advice
Everything on CalcFleet — calculators, results, explanations, and API responses — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing here constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or other professional advice. Before making any important decision, consult a qualified professional who can consider your full circumstances. Do not rely solely on a calculator result.
Accuracy & no warranty
We work to keep the calculations accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty — express or implied — as to the correctness, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any tool, result, or API response. The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for errors, omissions, or outcomes arising from use of the service.
API license
Subject to these terms and any applicable plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to call the API and to use the responses it returns in your own applications and content. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the API itself, and you must not represent the service as your own. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to bypass authentication or rate limits, no scraping or bulk extraction beyond what your plan permits, no reselling of raw access, no reverse engineering of non-public components, and nothing unlawful or harmful. You must not use the service in a way that degrades it for others or that infringes third-party rights.
Rate limits
API usage is subject to rate and quota limits, which vary by plan and may be adjusted to protect service stability. Requests that exceed your limits may be throttled or rejected. On localhost the API runs open for development; production access is gated.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure and for all activity under your account. API keys are shown once at creation and stored only as a hash; if a key is lost or compromised, revoke it and issue a new one. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
Billing, renewal & cancellation
Paid API access is billed through our billing partner. Today that is RapidAPI, and their terms apply to subscription, payment, and taxes; direct billing via Stripe is planned. Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period stated at purchase unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time through the billing provider; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period.
Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable, and cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the remainder of a paid period. Where billing is handled by a third-party provider, that provider's refund terms apply.
Suspension
We may suspend or revoke access, API keys, or accounts — with or without notice — where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms, a security or abuse risk, non-payment, or a legal requirement. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
API deprecation
The API is versioned and may evolve. Endpoints, parameters, and responses may change, and features may be deprecated or removed. For breaking changes to stable endpoints we aim to give reasonable notice, but we do not guarantee backward compatibility indefinitely. The API carries no service-level or uptime commitment; do not use it where errors or downtime could cause material harm.
Verifiable Calculation Certificates (VCC)
A valid signature establishes integrity and attribution to a key. It does not by itself establish that the inputs are true, the formula is appropriate, or the output is suitable for a particular decision. A receipt is signed evidence of a calculation, not a professional opinion, an audit, or a regulatory certification, and you must not present it as such.
Issuer & verifier responsibility
If you issue a receipt, you are responsible for the inputs you certify and for how you use and share the result, including any decision to publish. If you rely on a receipt someone else issued, you are responsible for evaluating it — checking the four axes reported at verification (authenticity, integrity, reproducibility, and issuer trust) and deciding, in your own judgement, whether it is fit for your purpose.
Private formulas
Where we provide a private formula registry or issuer identity to a partner, the partner retains ownership of its own confidential formulas and inputs, and we will use them only to provide the agreed service. Terms specific to such arrangements are set out in the relevant agreement.
Intellectual property
CalcFleet's name, brand, site content, calculator implementations, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms grant you no rights in them except the limited use expressly described here.
Data and inputs
Our handling of the data and inputs you submit — including calculator inputs, account data, API request metadata, and the contents of any receipt you issue — is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit any data you send, and for not submitting content you are not permitted to share.
Security contact
To report a security issue or suspected vulnerability, email privacy@calcfleet.com. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before public disclosure.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive competence over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, please stop using the service.
