Cookie Policy

The short version
CalcFleet sets no advertising or analytics cookie until you allow it. Analytics and ad storage are denied by default for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, and a consent banner lets anyone accept or decline. The only thing CalcFleet stores on its own is your consent choice, and that lives in your browser's local storage — not in a cookie. Calculator inputs you type on a page are never placed in a cookie. This page explains each category and how to change your mind. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Essential storage
To work at all, and to remember your consent decision, CalcFleet uses a small amount of essential browser storage. This is not used for tracking and cannot be switched off, because the site could not function or honour your choices without it.
cf-consent— your consent decision, stored inlocalStorage(not a cookie). It lets us apply your preference on every page and re-show the banner if you clear it.- Cookies strictly required by our host and security layer (for example load balancing and abuse prevention) may be set by Vercel, our hosting provider, under their own policy.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which calculators are useful and how visitors navigate the site. GA4 runs under Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics_storage denied by default for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. No GA4 cookie (_ga, _ga_*) is written until you accept via the banner. Outside those regions analytics may run without a prompt, but you can still decline. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Advertising — Google AdSense
A Google AdSense script is present on the site to support the free calculators. Ad storage and ad-related signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are also governed by Consent Mode and denied by default for EEA/UK/CH visitors until you accept. Where consent is not granted, Google may still serve limited, non-personalised ads without advertising cookies. Google processes ad data under its own privacy policy.
Managing your choices
You can grant or withdraw consent at any time using the consent banner; it re-appears if you clear your browser's local storage. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics and ad cookies from being set going forward. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use Google's own controls for ad personalisation. Blocking essential storage may prevent the site from remembering your consent choice.
