Dataset Registry

The versioned, first-party datasets CalcFleet ships — each an identifiable, time-bounded snapshot with its upstream source and retrieval date. This index is built from the same in-repo modules the calculators read, so a listing here is a dataset the site actually uses, not a description of one.

Two kinds of dataset live here. A VCC dataset manifest is a committed, digested snapshot a receipt can bind to and a verifier can resolve offline. A benchmark snapshot is a versioned static table emitted by a hand-run ingestion script — no runtime fetch — carrying its source, vintage and retrieval date. Where a field is not carried by a dataset's underlying module (a benchmark table has no digest or license yet), it is simply omitted here rather than invented. The migration path that turns the benchmark tables into full manifests is specified in the VCC specification.

Looking for the daily-refreshed macro indicators (mortgage rates, CPI, unemployment)? Those are a consumer dashboard, not versioned snapshots — they live at US economic data.

VCC dataset manifest

A committed VCC Dataset Manifest: the digest is recomputable from the published source, so a receipt can bind to exactly this snapshot and a verifier can resolve it offline.

Where datasets are used

The benchmark snapshots power the peer-comparison chips on the margin and earnings calculators, documented on the benchmark methodology page; the AI-pricing manifest backs the maintained AI pricing feed in the API. Receipts reference a dataset by its manifest so any result can be traced to the snapshot it consumed — verify a receipt.
